Job offers and vacancies in Edinburgh
Heelllloooooo, is there anybody out there?! Light and open minded, outgoing and most of all a round peg that doesn’t seem to fit in a square box?!!!! I know humans like these are hard to find but here I am taking on the challenge of finding you!!! Thank you for your interest in working with us. I’m Bonnie Chamberlain (the Employer) This letter tells you a little about the way it works here, the people involved and the nature of the jobs. I have Cerebral Palsy that effects my limb movements and my speech, I’m in a wheelchair but this doesn’t stop me living my life in the way I wish. I’m very outgoing, active and fun to work by. I do not stop, “sleep when I’m dead”. I’m a single mum of 3 but unfortunately my daughter Angel passed away from this world at 35 weeks. I live with my 8 year old son Caelum and my 2 year old son Tobi. We also have a dog Jessie, (cross between a Briton Fries and a Spitz) Nibbles the rabbit is the baby of our family. I like to think I’m flexible, understanding and easy to talk to if anyone has a problem. I employ personal assistants (carers) to assist me with my personal care, day to day duties and to assist me with my boys. I’m looking for a driver and handy man to do the manly jobs e.g. putting up shelves, gardening, trying to figger out why something isn’t working!!! This job will include gardening. Driving me around as some p.a’s can’t drive and this also allows the p.a’s to have breaks when I need to go somewhere such as for healing where I don’t need care, just a driver, shopping where no personal care in involved but assisting me with the shop. Other times it’ll be driving my p.a, myself and my boys around. You must have a full UK driving licence, available to work up to 12 hours per week, this involves some weekends. Must be honest, reliable, flexible and willing. £6 per hour and happy to have a CRB check. Please contact me if you are interested Cheers Bonnie
